False Prophecies of Mormonism Genealogy Work Vital to Salvation

Liahona, November 2011; “My beloved young brothers and sisters, family history is not simply an interesting program or activity sponsored by the Church; rather, it is a vital part of the work of salvation and exaltation. You have been prepared for this day and to build up the kingdom of God. You are here upon the earth now to assist in this glorious work.”

2 Thessalonians 2:9-11; “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”

As we learned earlier today God has no patience for those who practice witchcraft. Speaking to dead people is indeed a form of witchcraft as is seeking out anything to do with the dead.

Today is the day of salvation and God is not a God of the dead, but of the living!

God is the sole reason the Kingdom of God sees growth. We can’t save people – only God does that. The Kingdom of God is God’s rule. It’s not a place and it’s most certainly not anything we can add to or subtract from. God is in charge of it.

Exaltation is not part of the Christian experience when they get to heaven. No one but God is exalted and no one but God is or can be God! – Isaiah 43:10-11.

Furthermore, why isn’t Jesus’ blood enough? God allowed His Son to die so you could live and believing you have to do any works for salvation is a rejection of what God did for us on the cross when Jesus died.
