False Prophecies of Mormonism Wafting Through Space as a god

Life of Heber C. Kimball, pg 513; “A man may become a God as Jesus Christ did. For this he must prepare himself while in the flesh, that he may be enthroned as a judge is enthroned. I have a desire that my children be crowned, and if I be enthroned I want to have the privilege of wafting myself by the power of God, to visit my children. Everything we see here is typical of what will be hereafter.” – Orson F. Whitney

Teachings like this one are the trickle down effects of not knowing God.   When we don’t have an open line of communication with the Lord through His word and our devotion and worship of Him the results are disastrous as we see here.

Mormons are told not to use the name of deity too much as its irreverent, they’re told not to pray directly to Jesus and then they’re told not to believe they have some special relationship with the Lord.

On top of all that they’re also taught their salvation is dependent upon the works they do here on earth. They have to pull themselves up by the bootstraps, roll up their sleeves and “endure it to the end”.  What kind of life is that? The main thing I’ve noticed whenever leaders teach on what it’s going to be like in heaven there’s always one thing they’re consistent about.

There’s never any mention of God or Jesus. There’s never any mention of us as believers gathering around His throne to worship Him.  God is virtually absent in every scenario they present.
