No Godhood for Relying on Men
Isaiah 59:2; “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
Titus 3:5-7; “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
This doesn’t exactly match up with earlier teachings that Brigham is god to the Mormons or Brigham’s teaching that you can’t get to heaven without Joseph. So who is the mediator between God and man for the Mormon people? If you’re LDS do you know?
If the Bible is corrupt and can’t be trusted then why are there so many passages like the one in Titus? Are they all wrong? If they’re wrong then what did they say originally?
If Brigham didn’t want people to be dependent upon him for their salvation then why did he teach that without Mormonism no one goes to heaven?
Why didn’t he point to Jesus and Him only? This man’s words and teachings are ambiguous, just as the leaders of Mormonism are today. If they were truly followers of Jesus they wouldn’t say the LDS Church is the only true church on the face of the earth.
