False Prophecies of Mormonism Secrets Must be Kept from Outsiders

Journal of Discourses 4:372; “There is one principle that I wish the people would understand and lay to heart. Just as fast as you will prove before your God that you are worthy to receive the mysteries, if you please to call them so, of the kingdom of heaven-that you are full of confidence in God-that you will never betray a thing that God tells you-that you will never reveal to your neighbour that which ought not to be revealed, as quick as you prepare to be entrusted with the things of God, there is an eternity of them to bestow upon you.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, June 28, 1857

Matthew 10:26-28; “Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

What is so secret that others cannot know? If you want to bring others into the flock why are there secrets? God has no secrets!  

What other “thing” or plan could God present to His children that would trump the gift He gave to us – meaning His Son?

It seems the Church is always looking for something else – anything else – so that the new thing takes attention away from Jesus. What type of god would do that to his creation? 

I know the God of the Bible would never engage in such a thing so that leaves us with no other alternative but a false god.
