Mormon Dilemma 803 Confession of Smith Brings Salvation

Journal of Discourses 9:312; “All those who believe in their hearts and confess with their mouths that Joseph Smith is a true Prophet, at the same time trying with their might to live the holy principles Joseph the Prophet has revealed, are in possession of the Holy Spirit of God and are entitled to a fullness.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, July 13, 1862

Romans 10:9; “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

Brigham’s words are an impossible feat for the Mormon to achieve. If they believe blacks are representatives of Satan then they’re not accepting the prophet of today and if they’re living up to the commandments of Smith, i.e. polygamy, they’ll be arrested. 

Furthermore, if the Bible is such a disgrace and can’t be trusted why does the Church use little bits and pieces of it to twist around for their own doctrines?  Why not toss it altogether?
