January 29 – Altars for Pagan Gods. Exodus 33:19 “And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.”

Our original posting of ‘Moroni for Your Christmas Tree’ was first published back in 2012. Since that time, we’ve visited the LDS Bookstore to see what other items they sell, and true to form they’ve not changed their ways.
While the tree topper is no longer available, we did notice this year they’re also offering a plastic form of the BoM Liahona which is similar to an 8 ball toy you can play and find your future. The other item we saw was a replica of the Golden Plates.

March 27 – Was Joseph Smith Stronger Than Samson? Judges 16:30 tells us about the final act of Samson’s strength the Lord God supplied him with; there’s no question that no one lived as Samson did. “And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. The late prophet, Joseph Fielding Smith, boldly stated the Church must stand or fall on Smith’s story. He further proclaimed his uncle was either divinely called, or was one of the biggest frauds of this earth.
Today we’re looking at just one example of the fraud this man committed, and how leaders since that time continue to perpetuate his lies.
