One of the most distinguishing marks of Mormonism is the lack of the cross in any of their church buildings and teachings. On the flip side, the one thing that unites Christians is the symbol of the cross and what it signifies. Mormons reject this premise and reject the idea they’re not a Christian organization.
Their defiance in not accepting that Jesus paid for their sins on the cross is one of the subjects we’re always pointing out to them. The lack of their acceptance should be a key indicator to everyone, especially Christians, there’s something wrong.
We’ve written about this several times and have listed those articles here so our readers can get a fuller understanding of how Mormons feel about the cross and the reason why they’ve rejected it.

The atonement of Jesus Christ and the teachings surrounding his sacrifice for mankind are central teachings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Our Church is named after the Savior because we believe that it is His true and restored Church on the earth. All of our teaching is centered on Christ, including the Book of Mormon, which, along with the Bible are testimonies of Jesus Christ. The Savior plays THE central role for all our teaching, our temple work, our ordinances, and even our music. Please inform yourself…and take a moment to study it out before making statements that are untrue. If you want to know if these things are true, ask God, and he will reveal the truth unto you….just as the scriptures command us to do. God Bless you in your love and testimony of Jesus Christ.
