‘Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts’. 2 Peter 3:3

October 25 — Conference Quotes: Follow the Prophet, pt.2. Yesterday we posted that we were going to look at two other talks from this last GC but after looking at the lineup we’re adding to our list.

The last talk listed by Mr. Rasband is one for the ages. The blasphemous things he said made it worthy of several articles all on its own. I can’t help but think of the warning Jesus gave to believers — (more…)

October 24 — Conference Quotes: Follow the Prophet, pt.1. Today we’re looking at three comments made by leaders of the Church. Each of the speakers reminded people to obey and follow the prophet. What is probably most telling was how their talks told people to return.

Tomorrow we’re looking at two other talks that mimicked those seen today.

General Conference, ‘In the Space of Not Many Years’, October 2024 “Allowing pride to enter into our hearts can cause us to mock that which is sacred, disbelieve in the spirit of prophecy and revelation, trample under our feet the commandments of God, deny the word of God, cast out, mock, and revile against the prophets, and forget the Lord our God. … Apostasy can occur to institutions and individuals…

At the institutional level, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will not be lost through apostasy or taken from the earth. … If you or I believe we are sufficiently strong and stalwart to avoid the arrogance of pride, then perhaps we already are suffering from this deadly spiritual disease. … In the space of not many days, weeks, months or years, we might forfeit our spiritual birthright for far less than a mess of pottage.” — David A.
