LDS.org/conversion “Conversion includes a change in behavior, but it goes beyond behavior; it is a change in our very nature. It is such a significant change that the Lord and His prophets refer to it as a rebirth, a change of heart, and a baptism of fire.

Conversion is a process, not an event. Conversion comes as a result of righteous efforts to follow the Savior. These efforts include exercising faith in Jesus Christ, repenting of sin, being baptized, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end in faith.” (more…)

What Happens After We Die? “What Do We Know about the Spirit World?

Where is the spirit world?
President Brigham Young (1801–77) taught that the spirits of those who once lived on earth remain around us on this earth, though we can’t see them.1

1.See Teachings of Presidents of the Church: Brigham Young (1997), 279. …

Can spirits in the spirit world see us?
Yes, when needed. President Joseph F. Smith (1838–1918) said that those in the spirit world can see us more clearly than we can see them and that “their solicitude for us and their love for us and their desire for our well being must be greater than that which we feel for ourselves.” 4

LDSWhat the Church Teaches about the Bible in 2016

“…In 1979, after years of careful work under the direction of the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve, the Church salt lake mormon temple 2published a Latter-day Saint edition of the Bible. This edition of the Bible has the same text as the King James Version, but it includes special study aids, such as the Topical Guide, the Bible Dictionary, and footnotes referring to passages in other books of scripture and to excerpts from Joseph Smith’s translation of the Bible….

2014 Israel VineyardIsaiah 65:17-25; “For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. 18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. 19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying. 20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed. 21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. 22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. 23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them. 24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. 25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.”

2 Peter 3:13; “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

Revelation 21:1; “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

Mormon Decisions 10http://www.lds.org; “Under the direction of Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the heavens

and the earth (see Mosiah 3:8; Moses 2:1). From scripture revealed through the Prophet

Joseph Smith, we know that in the work of the Creation, the Lord organized elements

that had already existed (see Abraham 3:24). He did not create the world “out of

nothing,” as some people believe.”
