“Then the Lord said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.” Jeremiah 14:14

 The late prophet, Joseph Fielding Smith, boldly stated the Church must stand or fall on Smith’s story. He further proclaimed his uncle was either divinely called, or was one of the biggest frauds of this earth.

Today we’re looking at just one example of the fraud this man committed, and how leaders since that time continue to perpetuate his lies.
