False Prophecies of Mormonism Lehi “Discovers” His Genealogy

1 Nephi 5:16; “And thus my father, Lehi, did discover the genealogy of his fathers. And Laban also was a descendant of Joseph, wherefore he and his fathers had kept the records.”

Supposedly Lehi was an Israelite so why didn’t he already know his genealogy?

The Jews prided themselves on knowing which tribe they sprang from so this has to be a false prophecy and imposter!
