False Prophecies of Mormonism Woman’s Glory is Her Virginity

Brigham Young; Oct. 8, 1861; Original in LDS Church Archives; “The woman is the glory of the man; what is the glory of the woman? It is her virginity until she gives it into the hands of the man that will be her Lord and master to all eternity. She in many instances trifles with her virtue and will be damned for so doing, if it were not for more than five minutes. When a woman can say truly to her husband who magnifies his priesthood “I am as pure as you,” she ought to remember that she is the glory of that Lord.”

Acts 17:24-25; “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things.”

Hebrews 10:11-14; “And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”

Let’s not forget there is neither Jew nor Greek or male or female when we’re in Christ Jesus our Lord!

The insatiable appetites of men will never be satisfied when we’re walking outside the will of God.  The only sacrifice acceptable to God on this side of the cross is our worship and adoration of His Son Christ Jesus.

We posted part of Brigham’s speech last month encouraging the Mormon to replace the word “world” with your own name in John 3:16.  God so loved “____” that He gave His Only Begotten Son…  We encourage you again to do this!

Your virginity isn’t something that can earn you salvation in heaven.  God isn’t a false god from the pagan temples that required such things!  Your virginity isn’t who you are – your heart defines you just as Paul said, “I am hidden with Christ in God” and “chosen of God, holy and righteous”. – Ephesians 3:3. 12.
