Mormon Dilemma 852 LDS Church Warns Against False Prophets

The Evening and the Morning Star, Vol. II, No. 14, July 1833, pg. 105; “When, therefore, any man, no matter who, or how high his standing may be, utter, or publishes, any thing that afterwards proves to be untrue, he is a false prophet”.

1 Timothy 4:1-2; “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron”.

Well here we are in latter times with a “latter-day” prophet who departed from the body of Christ proclaiming another gospel the apostles didn’t preach in the Bible.

The Church’s warning of false prophets is nothing but a red herring. They’re taking the focus off themselves to point fingers at others when they in fact are guilty of the very thing they accuse others of doing.

We’re wondering if they’d hold the same standards for their beloved prophet Joseph. Here’s a list of 120 false prophecies proclaimed by Joseph Smith and in all sincerity we’re asking again – will you as a Church or you as an individual Mormon accept that Joseph was a false prophet.
