Mormon Dilemma 922 Lamanites aren’t American Indians

Doctrine and Covenants 10:48; “Yea, and this was their faith—that my gospel, which I gave unto them that they might preach in their days, might come unto their brethren the Lamanites, and also all that had become Lamanites because of their dissensions.

2 Thess. 3:6; “Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.”

This is just one of the hundreds of false prophecies uttered by Joseph Smith.

Wouldn’t God know the Lamanites aren’t American Indians?

This prophecy is God telling Joseph Smith to take the Mormon gospel to the American Indians, but we all know through DNA testing that the American Indians aren’t Jewish, therefore, making it impossible they could be Lamanites!

Imagine being a Mormon and coming across this passage in  your ‘sacred canon’. What does this do for people like my mother? How does it comfort her or build her trust in God?
