Mormon Dilemma 944 Racist Mormon Priesthood

Abraham 1:26-27; “Pharaoh, being a righteous man, established his kingdom and judged his people wisely and justly all his days, seeking earnestly to imitate that order established by the fathers in the first generations, in the days of the first patriarchal reign, even in the reign of Adam, and also of Noah, his father, who blessed him with the blessings of the earth, and with the blessings of wisdom, but cursed him as pertaining to the Priesthood. 27 Now, Pharaoh being of that lineage by which he could not have the right of Priesthood, notwithstanding the Pharaohs would fain claim it from Noah, through Ham, therefore my father was led away by their idolatry.”

Ensign, ‘Of the House of Israel,’ January 1991; “Thus, Joseph Smith was of the house of Israel so far as his family or blood lines were concerned, but he came from a Gentile nation and thus might also be considered a Gentile in the political or geographical sense…

“The members of the Church, most of us of the tribe of Ephraim, are of the remnant of Jacob. We know it to be the fact that the Lord called upon the descendants of Ephraim to commence his work in the earth in these last days. We know further that he has said that he set Ephraim, according to the promises of his birthright, at the head…” – Daniel Ludlow

Genesis 41:45; “And Pharaoh called Joseph’s name Zaphnath-paaneah; and he gave him to wife Asenath the daughter of Potipherah priest of On. And Joseph went out over all the land of Egypt.”

From that marriage Joseph and Asenath bore two sons; Manasseh and Ephraim – Genesis 46:20.

If Joe Smith is from the tribe of Ephraim or Manasseh then how could he hold the priesthood? The Book of Abraham reveals to us that neither Pharaoh, nor anyone of his ‘loins’ could inherit the priesthood because of their lineage.

Also consider that when Mormons receive their patriarchal blessing they’re told they belong to one of two tribes; Ephraim and Manasseh. It’s a rare day when the Mormon doesn’t belong to the tribe of Ephraim. Why would they be eligible to receive the priesthood if they’re from this tribe?

Why do they claim to be from this tribe if the ultimate blessed race is white and delightsome? Egyptians don’t fit the Mormon criteria and neither do the Hebrews for that matter!
