Holy Ghost a Son of God

Encyclopedia of Mormonism, p 649; “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches that the Holy Ghost is a spirit man, a spirit son of God the Father. It is fundamental Church doctrine that God is the Father of the spirits of all men and women, that Jesus is literally God’s Son both in the spirit and in the flesh, and that the Holy Ghost is a personage of spirit separate and distinct from both the Father and the Son.” – Daniel Ludlow

1 John 3:24; “And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us”.

Of all things – really?  Why have they done this to themselves and others?  The amount of time the Church has spent weaving its lies is unfathomable.  Ugh.

The Holman Bible Dictionary defines the Holy Spirit this way;

“The mysterious third Person of the Trinity through whom God acts, reveals His will, empowers individuals, and discloses His personal presence in the Old and New Testament”.

It’s obvious the only thing this god of theirs can do is beget.  The Mormon god doesn’t seem to fit the description of the Holy Spirit described here!

How does their god beget himself to make up parts of their godhead?

The Bible is rich with explanations of how the Holy Spirit works and what His purpose is for us as believers. One of my go-to verses for sharing the truth about the Trinity is of course Isaiah 9:6. Now, how could God beget Himself in this verse?

Isaiah 9:6; “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace”.

And finally, we have the words of Jesus who gives a very fit description of who the Holy Spirit is!

 John 16:7-8; “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.  8  And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment”.

Be sure to share these truths with your Mormon friend/loved one and ask them what their  opinion is of this!

To even allow such a blasphemous teaching like this brush the outskirts of your morbid imagination is horrific.  Uttering such nonsense out loud is worse indeed – oh Lord have mercy on my people…

In the words of my late grandfather – ‘You’re being ugly; knock it off’.
