Blood Atonement for Mixing Seed

Wilford Woodruff’s Personal Diary, 4:97; “And if any man mingle his seed with the seed of Cain the only way he could get rid of it or have Salvation would be to come forward and have his head cut off and spill his blood upon the ground – it would also take the life of his children.”

Matthew 26:52; “Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.”

Do the words in Mr. Woodruff’s diary sound biblical to you? 

With all the evil and violent behavior going on right now in the world (ISIS and the beheading of non-Muslims) just how is their behavior any different than what was being taught in the early days of Mormonism?
