Wilford Woodruff’s Personal Diary 4:97; “And if any man mingle his seed with the seed of Cain the only way he could get rid of it or have Salvation would be to come forward and have his head cut off and spill his blood upon the ground ‑‑ it would also take the life of his children.”
Ephesians 4:29; “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
Wilford Woodruff was the fourth prophet/president of the Mormon Church and well acquainted with the teachings of Joseph and company about the teachings on race.
What man of God would talk like this?
It’s interesting to note that not a lot of Mormons are familiar with New Testament writings in any depth. They’re quick to blurt out familiar sayings such as “thou shalt not judge” or “keep my commandments” but outside of the familiar phrases most everyone knows, they’re usually unfamiliar with it as a whole.
The admonition from Paul is a good example of my case in point. Would a prophet who is intimately familiar with the mind of God say that white people and their children should have their heads chopped off?
If his words were true this would mean they’d kill my mother who is white and my brothers and me because she had children with my father who isn’t exactly “white and delightsome”.
What purpose does this serve for God? Does Jesus need you to decapitate people for His Kingdom?
How is this ministering grace to the hearers?
How does my mother’s shed blood save her? What about Jesus’ blood? Why did He die on the cross for sins if man has to die for their own “sins”?
Where in the Bible does God tell us that mixing races is a sin?
