Witnessing Tip of the Day November 6

reflections on Christ - crucifixionDan. 9:26b; “…but not for himself…”

Hebrews 2:9; “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.”

Jesus not only died, but He died for the sins of the world… that means every single man, woman and child…Yesterday we saw that the Church believes Jesus died for Adam’s sins, but not for the sins of every man. Today we’ll see that Mormon dogma continues to contradict the Bible in other LDS teachings. As a Mormon realizing that grace can be your reality is a major and most welcome relief. Share this with a Mormon so they can claim this for his or herself and define the word from a dictionary. Show them how their own scripture contradicts itself and the Bible.

Encyclopedia of Mormonism, p 560; “…the Savior has also atoned conditionally for personal sins. The application of grace to personal sins is conditional because it is available only when an individual repents, which can be a demanding form of works…God bestows these additional, perfecting expressions of grace conditionally..” – Bruce Hafen
