Matthew 24:35, 27:25; “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. 27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.”
Mark 15:25; “…and they crucified Him.”
Our Bible verses today serve as ominous reminders of what happened 2,000 years ago. They’re a quick look at what Jesus promised and man’s response and unfortunately, the Book of Mormon as a whole stands as a good example of how people still respond to Him.
The hyperbole from the Church never seems to end. Every nook and cranny holds another lie waiting to expose itself. Info I retrieved from Wikipedia on the inhabitants of the American continent listed numerous studies and organizations collectively showing there’s no way to verify pre-Columbian population stats in the Americas since no records were ever kept.
What they do know is there have been countless civilizations for thousands of years in the Americas with their best estimates ranging anywhere from 10 to 100+ million people.
In the 18th – 19th centuries people thought the Maya Script was a form of Egyptian not realizing the two languages have nothing in common. This relates to the same time period of Jean-François Champollion’s announcement the transliteration of the Rosetta Stone had begun (1822). News of an amazing discovery in the catacombs of Egypt was all the rage from the 1799 to the 1830’s and ol’ Joe would give anything to be in on the action.
From 1834-1842 Joe Smith tried to convince people he translated some Egyptian papyri he had purchased from a traveling salesman, Michael Chandler.

The Mormon Church still can’t prove the American continent was uninhabited before BC 600, just as they’re still trying to find archaeological evidences to prove the BoM people lived somewhere in Mesoamerica.
