Polygamy Sins of King Benjamin and Joseph Smith

Mosiah 11:2; “For behold, he did not keep the commandments of God, but he did walk after the desires of his own heart. And he had many wives and concubines. And he did cause his people to commit sin, and do that which was abominable in the sight of the Lord. Yea, and they did commit whoredoms and all manner of wickedness.”

James 3:1; “My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”

Perhaps Smith should’ve read his Bible and remembered what he wrote in Mosiah!

Why was it okay for Smith to practice polygamy, but not okay for this King Benjamin fellow? Make no mistake, teachers are held to a higher standard than everyone else, and God keeps track of these things.
