Witnessing Tip of the Day June 23

June 23 Jesus said the two most important things to observe is to love the Lord with all your heart and love others as yourself. The only ordinances for a Christian is the Lord’s Supper (communion), and baptism. Ask your Mormon friend why they have so many ordinances to fulfill for salvation when it’s already been given to them as a gift.

Ordinances “In the Church, an ordinance is a sacred, formal act performed by the authority of the priesthood. Some ordinances are essential to our exaltation. These ordinances are called saving ordinances. They include baptism, confirmation, ordination to the Melchizedek Priesthood (for men), the temple endowment, and the marriage sealing. With each of these ordinances, we enter into solemn covenants with the Lord.”
