A Book of Mormons, p. 2 “Elijah Abel (1810-1884), First Black Elder…1836. March 3: Ordained an elder – the first black to hold priesthood office in the Church. At the time of his ordination, he was given a patriarchal blessing by Church Patriarch Joseph Smith, Sr…”Thou has been ordained an Elder…Thou shalt be made equal to thy brethren, and thy soul shall be white in eternity and thy robes glittering: thou shalt receive these blessings because of the covenants of thy fathers.”” – Richard S. Van Wagoner and Steven C. Walker
Psalm 139:14, 17 “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!”
If God’s thoughts toward us are precious and we’re wonderfully made why would God need to change the color of a black person?
Why would anyone’s soul need to be white?
Joseph Smith and his father were racist.
People don’t receive blessings because of the covenants of their fathers. Their blessing is salvation when they accept Jesus into their hearts while living here on earth. Shame on these men for the lies they’ve told.
Please pray for all Mormons to reject what they’ve been repeatedly taught and for them to have a saving knowledge of Christ and Him crucified!
With Love in Christ —

[…] Blacks Will have White Souls in Heaven […]
So ridiculous. Don’t they realize God made everyone ,no matter what color they are. Or don’t they care. God loves everyone. He doesn’t make mistakes. But Joseph Smith did. Have a blessed day.
I’ve often wondered what they’ll say when they Jesus. Being frum the Middle East I imagine He wasn’t white1
Good grief.
I know, right?! I’m wondering how someone like my great grandmother felt knowing that at least part of her will be okay for the Mormon god…
A worldly presumption.
You’re spot on with that!
Just another slice of the LDS abject racism.
