John 15:15; “Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
When asking the Mormon why their temple ceremonies are secret, they’ll immediately jump into a defensive mood and declare their ceremonies are sacred, not secret.
We’re wondering why they’re so defensive about this in light of what Brigham Young taught. Ask your Mormon friend what they think about Brigham’s comment, and also, using a dictionary share the specific definitions for both sacred and secret.
One last thing…
Why would God demand His children keep secrets from each other?
If you want others to know about Him so they can be saved, wouldn’t you want to tell them everything there is to know?
