Galatians 1:4; “Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father.”

Mormons have purposefully, and erroneously taught that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross was done to bring about the resurrection.
The Church likes to use the word ‘atonement’ a lot, but it’s always rings hollow. It’s a fancy word with no meaning for them, taking up space on a page.
The reason for this is because the LDS Church doesn’t like to deal with the spilt blood of our Lord. They can’t afford to give Him the glory or credit, for to do so means they’re out of a job.
As the Lord plainly points out, everyone will indeed be resurrected, but the resurrection did not atone for sins. Jesus’ death on Calvary’s cross redeemed mankind and paid the price for my awful sin.
John 5:28-29; “Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, 29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
