Witnessing Tip January 24

 January 24 – Young boys with the authority of men. “They are assigned to passing the sacrament, perform messenger services, act as ushers, keep church facilities in good repair, go home teaching, and perform special assignments at the direction of the bishopric”. Clearly, this message from Paul is not meant for children. Strangely, it’s the practice of the Mormon Church to have twelve year old boys serve as deacons.

Aside from the perfect announcement God came in human flesh to pay the price for sin, the New Testament is mainly about the doctrines of God. In it we find how to conduct ourselves even through the simple structure of church life. 1 Tim. 3:12 says; “let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well”.
