The biblical passage today is known as the foundational passage defining our God. It’s been used countless times for describing Who He is, and for that matter, who we are too! There is no other savior at all at any time, or anywhere. Ask the Mormon if they understand that belief in their god qualifies them as polytheists. Also explain that you don’t have to worship the other gods, you just have to believe they exist. Dictionary.com defines polytheism this way; “the doctrine of or belief in more than one god or in many gods”.
