I couldn’t help but roll my eyes after reading an e-mail that came in from ‘Today in Mormon History’ several days ago.
If Smith’s prophecy was true, several of the women sitting in that meeting should’ve known he was lying seeing as how he was married to twelve of them. For more info see Polygamy and Mormon Church Leaders.
The trickledown effect of this problem is still seen in Mormonism now. Tomorrow’s Visiting Teaching Message is a tell-tale sign they’ve believed the lies of their leaders.
