Tip of the Day, May 11

 May 11 – How do you cite your mind forward to something already past? Heb. 7:24, 27-28; “But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”

Today’s Mormon works are problematic with at least two issues we’ll look at today. The first being that it would be quite difficult at best to look forward to something that has already happened. The time frame for this passage is 62 BC. The second difficulty; there is no need for a high priest in the churches since Jesus Christ holds that position.

Ask a Mormon how you look forward to something that is already done.
