2 Thessalonians 2:7, 10; “For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
Today we’re looking at the definition of a name in the Book of Mormon.
Alma was supposedly a high priest, and a male prophet of God. Remarkably, the BoM narrative also wants us to believe this man had a Jewish ancestry.
The word Alma in Hebrew means ‘woman, or a betrothed female’. See ‘Almah’ for more info. How believable is this BoM story now? For more info on other names in this false gospel, see Demonic and Ungodly Names in the Book of Mormon
