August 4 – Unfulfilled prophecies prove false prophets roam the earth. – Matthew 24:24-26; ‘For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.’

This is a major false prophecy courtesy of Joseph Smith. Ask the Mormon why it hasn’t been fulfilled yet. The text is very clear when it said these things would happen ‘not many days hence’. This prophecy was written back in 1833. As of today, it’s been 184 years!

Doctrine and Covenants 88:87; “For not many days hence and the earth shall tremble and reel to and fro as a drunken man; and the sun shall hide his face, and shall refuse to give light; and the moon shall be bathed in blood; and the stars shall become exceedingly angry, and shall cast themselves down as a fig that falleth from off a fig-tree.”
