Witnessing Tip of the Day August 30

August 30 – Jeremiah 14:14; “Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.”

Polygamy died a slow death and finally ended in May 1904. After years of fighting with the Feds, and numerous threats made by the US Government, the Church finally came to terms with their illegal (not to mention ungodly), way of life.

If God told Jeremiah that He didn’t send the false prophets, ask the Mormon if they believe God sent the false prophecies to the Mormon people.
