2 Corinthians 11:3; “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
I’ve always felt safe and taken comfort in the Apostle Paul’s exhortations he patiently spelled out for believers. It seems whatever he said was simplistic, yet filled with everything we need to know. It’s a far cry from what we see in our Mormon reference today!
Just when you think you might have figured out a good deal about Mormonism, you’re blindsided with something new. It’s obvious these men were making things up as they went along, and it’s obvious they’re still at it today.
Joseph Fielding Smith’s uncle, Joseph Smith, Jr., always claimed the BoM was the fullness of the gospel. If that’s true, somebody’s lying.
What else is there if the BoM is the top dog of the Mormon gospel?
Why haven’t they said anything else about this since that time?
Whom do you believe?
Joseph Fielding Smith?
Joseph Smith, Jr. – founder of Mormonism?
Or the simplicity found in Jesus?
We’re praying it’s the Lord!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
