Tip of the Day, April 3

April 3 – Is 45:13 & 1 Peter 5:2; “I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith the LORD of hosts….Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind.”

Once again the Mormon Church disqualifies itself from being a true church even by their standards.  The upper levels of the church, referred to as “general authorities” are indeed paid, although it has never been published as to how much.  Even so, the Bible is clear about making sure the pastors are taken care of. 1 Cor. 9:7-14, and Matt 10:10 are only two of dozens of verses which describes this subject.
