Matthew 10:28 “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
It makes our hearts sad reading the words of Mr. Kimball. Sad for him, and those sitting in his audience. Why wasn’t he sharing a message from Paul who pointed out the difference between the good and bad fruits of the Spirit? Galatians 5:20-22.
When the Church announces they had no such thing as ‘blood atonement’, we can know they’re not telling us the truth on this one.
Mormon Doctrine, p. 65 “…wicked and evilly-disposed persons have fabricated false and slanderous stories to the effect that the Church, in the early days of this dispensation, engaged in a practice of blood atonement where under the blood of apostates and others was shed by the Church as an atonement for their sins. These claims are false and were known by their originators to be false.” – Bruce R. McConkie
Pray for Mormons to see the truth, and have the courage to follow Jesus, and not lies like this!
