July 9 – The Mormon’s gainsaying god. Psalm 119:142; “Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is the truth.”

You’re sure to find a host of problems with Mormon theology. As I’ve always said, Smith took every subject pertaining to Christian doctrine, turned it on its proverbial head, and named it Mormonism. I’ve been dealing with Mormonism more than fifty years, and I’ve yet to find one doctrine in this church that’s doctrinally sound.

Using the contrary LDS references listed below, along with your bible, ask a Mormon which of the examples they would choose to describe their understanding of God and why. Be sure to share how they can know the truth about the Lord, and use your personal experiences of why you know.

Pointing out the LDS’ contradictions might be the first time they realize they’re not the problem, but it’s Church’s doctrines that are at fault.

D&C 121:32; “According to that which was ordained in the midst of the Council of the Eternal God of all other gods before this world was, that should be reserved unto the finishing and the end thereof, when every man shall enter into his eternal presence and into his immortal rest.”

3 Nephi 11:27; “And after this manner shall ye baptize in my name; for behold, verily I say unto you, that the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost are one; and I am in the Father, and the Father in me, and the Father and I are one.”
