Witnessing Tip of the Day February 28

­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­February 28 – Why He died for us. 1 Peter 3:18; “For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.”

Share with a Mormon the reason why Jesus died. They believe His death paved the way for them to become gods and have totally rejected the idea they’re sinners in need of redemption. Their rejection of Jesus’ true intent of dying on the cross reminds me of what Amy Carmichael once said – ‘If I slip into the place that can be filled by Christ alone, making myself the first necessity to a soul instead of leading it to fasten upon Him, then I know nothing of Calvary love.’
