MORMON JESUS NOT BEGOTTEN OF HOLY GHOST

Doctrines of Salvation 1:18 “I believe firmly that Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God in the flesh. He taught this doctrine to his disciples. He did not teach them that he was the Son of the Holy Ghost, but the Son of the Father. Truly, all things are done by the power of the Holy Ghost. It was through this power that Jesus was brought into this world, but not as the Son of the Holy Ghost, but the Son of God. Jesus is greater than the Holy Spirit, which is subject unto him, but his Father is greater than he! He has said it. Christ was begotten of God. He was not born without the aid of Man, and that Man was God!” — Joseph Fielding Smith

Isaiah 7:14 “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.”

Matthew 1:23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

If Mr. Smith is correct, God lied. This would mean Jesus isn’t who He claimed to be, and the rest of God’s word is worthless. You can also toss Jesus’ warning to beware of false prophets with false gospels ~

‘For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.’ Matthew 24:24

As an FYI, we’ve posted this quote because of the obvious reason it’s Christmastime. We pray people will see the info as they search the web looking for info on Jesus.

If you’re LDS, which version of the Christmas story do you believe?

We pray you trust what God said in His word, and celebrate the Real Jesus of the Bible!!!

With Love in Christ;

Michelle
