Brothers Jesus, and Lucifer Still Relevant in Mormonism

Genesis 22:18 “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”

Galatians 3:16 “Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.”

As Isaac’s seed, will bless all nations … How could these scriptures be true if Mormon canon is true? If God has more than one son then what do we make of this fulfilled prophecy? Also consider Hebrews 1:5!
Ask your Mormon friends for their opinion on this. Creating dialogue, and giving them something to think about is a great gift!

FYI: At the time of this publication in January 2015, Mr. Hales was an apostle of the Church. He passed in 2017.

Ensign, “The Aaronic Priesthood: Return with Honor,” May 1990, 39 “We cannot remember that we once lived with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that we probably sat in meetings much like this, where the Father’s plan for us was explained. We cannot remember that Lucifer, a son of God the Father, a brother of Jesus Christ, rebelled against God’s plan and, in his rebellion, promised he would bring us all back home. But Lucifer would have denied us our free agency, the freedom to make decisions.” – Robert D. Hales [emp. added]
