We see from this scripture that while we are still living in our fleshy ways, He has saved us. We did nothing to merit this grace. There is nothing we could have done to have such a blessing bestowed upon us. He certainly didn’t wait for us to cleanse ourselves from our sins. If that were the case, He’d still be waiting on us.
Pay close attention to the wording in today’s Mormon scripture. Seeing things like this makes me gasp and feel so sad for the Mormon people. How I wish they’d see these things for themselves!
