LDS: Noah Received Priesthood at Ten Years of Age

Doctrine and Covenants 107:48-52 “Enoch was twenty-five years old when he was ordained under the hand of Adam; and he was sixty-five and Adam blessed him 49 And he saw the Lord, and he walked with him, and was before his face continually; and he walked with God three hundred and sixty-five years, making him four hundred and thirty years old when he was translated. 50 Methuselah was one hundred years old when he was ordained under the hand of Adam. 51 Lamech was thirty-two years old when he was ordained under the hand of Seth. 52 Noah was ten years old when he was ordained under the hand of Methuselah.”

Exodus 28:1 “And take thou unto thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office, even Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron’s sons.”

The first time we see the word priest mentioned in the sense of an operating priesthood is in Exodus 28:1.

While Melchizedek met with Abraham in Genesis 14:8, the office of a priesthood wasn’t established until the days of Aaron ca. BC 1574.

Noah lived ca. BC 3004 – 2348.

That’s a discrepancy of almost 800 yrs.
