Christianity is Church of the Devil

D&C 18:20 “Contend against no church, save it be the church of the devil.”

Doctrine and Covenants Student Manual, Section 18, pp. 35-36 “What Is the “Church of the Devil”? … Elder Bruce R. McConkie explained that “the titles church of the devil and great and abominable church are used to identify all churches or organizations of whatever name or nature—whether political, philosophical, educational, economic, social, fraternal, civic, or religious—which are designed to take men on a course that leads away from God and his laws and thus from salvation in the kingdom of God” (Mormon Doctrine, pp. 137–38).”

1 Peter 3:15 “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear”.

Proverbs 15:28 “The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked blurts out evil.”

The target audience for the student manual of Doctrine and Covenants is obviously for younger members of the Church. While they’ve tried to portray a nicer, gentler church in recent years the truth is they’re still telling the same lies and feel animosity towards the bride of Christ.

We see how they tell people not to contend with anyone outside their faith while stating everyone but members of their organization are from the devil.

Furthermore, why do they try to convert people into their church when the people at the door they’ve knocked on tells them they belong to a different church?

Our websites are proof members prefer to argue with non-members and their own canon speaks for itself.

Ask the Mormon you know how they feel towards others not of their faith.

I know as a Mormon I didn’t want to be known as a ‘whore of Babylon’ yet at the same time I loved being in the presence of Christians. It was a strange dichotomy to be sure!

Pray for members young and old alike, who are studying the manual this year!

With Love in Christ –—
