Jesus Serviced Inhabitants on Other Worlds

Improvement Era, November 1968, p. 46 “Jesus Christ, Lord of the Universe … Except for his mortal ministry accomplished on this earth, his service and relationship to other worlds and their inhabitants are the same as his service and relationship to this earth and its inhabitants.” — Marion G. Romney

Luke 21:8 “And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.”

There are times when the Church says things that defies the Lord’s word, and sometimes even common sense. The LDS reference today is one of those times.

In one of Joe Smith’s works is the book of Moses. Some of its content resembles the book of Genesis before it dives into another realm of polytheism, and other worlds inhabited by mankind – see Moses 1:30-38.

Here are the questions we have today –

Where in the Bible does it infer there are other people on other worlds?

If Jesus performed services for other worlds does this mean He was crucified for them as well?

While the words of Mr. Romney were from 1968, church members still refer to them today in quotes, and from Joe Smith’s works in Moses.

Ask the Mormon you know what they think of Mr. Romney’s comment, and what it says in Moses.

With Love in Christ –—

Michelle
