LDS Told to Side with Church on EVERYTHING

Conference Report, April 1980, p.100 “If we, as a people, keep the commandments of God; if we take the side of the Church on all issues, both religious and political; if we take the Holy Spirit for our guide; if we give heed to the words of the apostles and prophets who minister among us——then, from an eternal standpoint, all things will work together for our good.” — Bruce R. McConkie

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

Mr. McConkie lifted a phrase from a book he doesn’t trust; aka the Bible.

The verse from Romans was Paul’s reminder that it’s God’s will to work through circumstances in the believer’s lives. Two key elements in the verse are that it’s God who does the work and the recipient is the believer.

Regrettably, this talk was another example of how the Church manipulates its members. We’re also wondering what role the Holy Spirit has in light of the long list of authorities that are guiding them.

These dear people have been tricked into believing they have to orchestrate all things in their lives. As we mentioned yesterday, the Lord is there in name only.

We looked at this topic six years ago and sadly nothing has changed, they’re still controlling members with their mandates today.

Please, pray for those who believe these lies and for the Lord to intervene!

With Love in Christ —
