God is God Because He Fathered Children

Everyone calling themselves Christian has come to the place in life where it’s decided a trek to Jerusalem is necessary.

I’ve often wondered what the man Simon, who carried the cross for Jesus, must’ve been thinking on that fateful day. Matthew 27:32. The trek to Jerusalem, however, doesn’t end with our simple acceptance of Him.

It should also include our unbridled loyalty to follow Him all the way to Jerusalem. For many, this includes the loss of families, jobs, homes, and sometimes even life itself.

When I say that it’s tragic my people don’t think about these things, it’s a gross understatement.

The life of a Mormon is wrapped up in their duties necessary to becoming a god themselves. Unfortunately, they’ve also believe they know how God became God.

Be sure to share the truth with a Mormon you know by explaining the meaning of the word eternal, which is what God is!

Three Degrees of Glory, pp. 10-11 “…there are three degrees of glory in the Celestial Kingdom and only those who attain the highest degree of Celestial Glory will be candidates to become what God is, and graduate. … in order to obtain the highest, a man must enter into this Order of the Priesthood; (meaning the new and everlasting covenant of marriage) …

Those who are denied endless increase [spirit children] cannot be what God is, because that is what, in connection with other things, makes him God.

The eternity of the marriage covenant ought to be understood by Latter-day Saints clearly to be the sealing of at least one woman to one man for time and for all eternity.” — Melvin J. Ballard, Discourse Delivered in Ogden Tabernacle, September 22, 1922 [emp. added]
