Peace Comes Through the Cross

May 6 — Peace Comes Through the Cross. Colossians 1:20 “And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.”

Are you totally at peace with Jesus? True peace can only be obtained by knowing He spilt His blood for you on the cross at Calvary.

It’s not found in a temple, nor will you find it by remembering the words of a secret promise.

When you fully accept salvation is dependent upon what He’s done, then you can say He’s your Lord.

With recent worldly events like Covid-19, Mormons have had to backtrack on previous teachings that temple attendance is the only way to have peace with God.

If you’re relying on something you said, Jesus doesn’t qualify as your Lord — He’s merely a tagline at the end of a prayer.
