BoM is Keystone of Mormonism

May 1 — BoM is Keystone of Mormonism. Come, Listen to a Prophet’s Voice, p. 15 “Of the four great standard works of the Church—the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price—I would particularly urge you to read again and again the Book of Mormon and ponder and apply its teachings.

The Book of Mormon was referred to by the Prophet Joseph Smith as “the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man [and woman] would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.”” — Ezra Taft Benson

1 John 5:13 “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

It’s blasphemous to lead others away from the Bible. Jesus said His word is truth. John 17:17

It’s a lie to tell people that the Book of Mormon is the most correct book on the face of the earth when there’s been more than 5,200 changes made to it. See Mormon Handbook which is one of the best sites (if not the very best) detailing every problem in the BoM. The site mentions The Book of Mormon The Earliest Text.

Moreover, it’s very telling when the prophets of Mormonism proclaim the Book of Mormon is the keystone of their religion.

Obviously, Jesus is not.

Ask a Mormon who/what should be the keystone of their faith!

With Love in Christ –
