The God I worship is big enough to keep His promises. When Jesus said that not even the sparrows worry about what they’ll eat tomorrow, it gives me assurance the gospel didn’t go anywhere, nor is there a need for it to be restored. Joseph F. Smith was the grandson of Hyrum Smith, brother of Joseph Smith, Jr.
Ask a Mormon if they believe Jesus would keep His promises and if not then ask why.
Where did the gospel go? Why would Jesus promise us something if he didn’t intend to follow through?
Remember to allow the Holy Spirit to guide your conversation deeper.
