Who Holds the Keys to Heaven?

 January 24 — Doctrine and Covenants 90:2-3 “Therefore, thou art blessed from henceforth that bear the keys of the kingdom given unto you; which kingdom is coming forth for the last time. ³ Verily I say unto you, the keys of this kingdom shall never be taken from you, while thou art in the world, neither in the world to come”. — March 8, 1833

Colossians 1:18 “And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.”

Joseph Smith’s big problem was his ego. He didn’t want to admit that he wasn’t in charge of everything under the sun. If he was a true prophet, he’d know better than to say things like this.

Show the Mormon you know what Jesus said and ask if they believe Joe ruled everything. For more insight of how treacherous his revelation was see Journal of Discourses 7:289 where Brigham Young said Smith rules in heaven and we need his permission to get into heaven.
