Joseph Smith’s big problem was his ego. He didn’t want to admit that he wasn’t in charge of everything under the sun. If he was a true prophet, he’d know better than to say things like this.
Show the Mormon you know what Jesus said and ask if they believe Joe ruled everything. For more insight of how treacherous his revelation was see Journal of Discourses 7:289 where Brigham Young said Smith rules in heaven and we need his permission to get into heaven.

Pretty sure Smith isn’t even in Heaven. They never needed permission from Smith or any of their so called prophets. Prayers they see the truth.🙏🙏🙏Sounds like Smith was listening to the devil.

I know you’re right about this! I will never understand how they believe Joseph Smith and not our sweet Lord Jesus. I cannot imagine what goes thru His mind…
